n54 solenoid bypass for jb+

Hi I have a 08 135i and have a jb+ being shipped and was wondering where I could get a diy on the Solenoid bypass. I have been told I need this in order to run at 100% setting.

Also with the $2 bov mod hurt the tune?

The bov mod won't hurt the tune. The N54's have MAP's not MAF's.

I looked for the by-pass info but I could not find it again. I just saw it on another post a few weeks ago during another search.

You may want to read the post on the $2 BOV. I thinks some were reporting that it was blowing oil into the engine bay.

Any BOV will do that if you have oil in your charge pipe. Just another reason to get a catch can.
