Absolutely love this intake. I've run Drop in, scoops, DCI, mr.5 intake. This intake has been the best performing of all of them.

Very quiet, nice bump in torque off the line. Engine definitely spools faster and no traffic heat soak like the DCI.
You've made a Mr.5 intake? I was about to make one and I'm running BMS DCI now. I've looked at this and I just wonder why can't I or someone make an enclosure like this for the BMS DCI?

Yeah, it was actually kind of fun making it. As for the DCI, not sure you would get much benefit. The filter on this thing is pretty large.

We sold no less than a dozen of these intakes since they became available, someone must have dyno it independently.

question is, why would you choose oiled over dry?

i dont like running oiled filters because of the rumors of the oil being sucked into the intake and fouling sensors (maf, map, iat, etc...) inside the intake manifold.

Either on works great.

There is no MAF on the N54 so there is nothing to worry about. The MAF fouling issues happen more often when the enduser get a little oil happy after cleaning.

Just curious...how much higher is the aFe Stage 2 box versus the stock airbox? I have an Arc power brace strut tower bar that just clears the stock airbox.

This one takes us about 30 minutes.

For a first time installer, maybe 1 hour at the most.
