Nope, you're not really moving the steering rack as much as you are getting it out of the way to give you another inch or two of clearance for the install. Just make sure you tighten it up properly at the end of the install... when I did my DPs, I thought I had it on nice and tight.. a few days later I started hearing clicking noises when using the steering wheel... thankfully it was an easy fix, just took off the plastic underbody panel and tightened it up some more.

Agreed, the first comments were great...until..."We do keep both the AR design Catted and Catless setups in-stock here as well without the typical 4 week lead time. Feel free to drop me a PM if you guys have any further questions!"

Then it turned into a sales pitch

Agreed. And frankly, I'm tired of people jumping down vendor's throats. To me, it's useful for 2 reasons: 1) they often add to the discussion, and 2) it shows me which vendors are engage in this community and actually knowledgeable about what they sell.

Apologies if you assumed I'm jumping down someone's throat.

Adding insight and engaging is great, a sales pitch isn't required.

CEL Codes with AR Catted DPs

Just wondering if anyone has experience with AR's catted DPs in a 2008 135i -- does it throw codes?

Planning on getting these soon and I would not like to deal with any 02 sims, etc.

And I'm not running a tune, but even if I were, I don't want to have to use the tune to clear the CELs

This is great. I am waiting for COBB tune for my n55 engine which is not available yet. Do you think its ok if i install catted pipe now or should i wait and install them at the same time? Is it ok to run AR catted downpipe on stock engine with helix intercooler?
