Thanks! I may add some skirt extensions to try and even it out a little but for now I'm happy with it

Coming up on one-year with my 135. Here's a few pics from our times together. Tinted, new muffler/exhaust (?) and I just put in the Lux H8 160s last night. First thing I did on the car myself, much more to come.

Bonus: Dogs & Coral Red interior

Thanks! I think that having the fog mounts cut out and doing the 1M ducts made all the difference. That and the mean-looking headlights really bring it together.

Not impossible but it is a huge PITA. The Permaseal sealant is not a team player.

I worked my way around the headlight with a heat gun and a box cutter, prying the plastic and cutting the sealant. Afterwards, after removing all accessories, I placed them in the oven at 225-235 F for 30 minutes. This will actually get the sealant hot enough that you can pry the lens out. Afterward you need to remove all that tough Permaseal from the canal and lens and replace it with Butyl Rubber.

I highly recommend a professional for the job, not sealing them properly is very high risk on these specific headlights. Once the moisture enters it settles on the bottom and fries your system. $200+/module + ~$100/ballast + coding= a bad day. Ask me how I know

Butyl rubber takes all the fun out of playing with these headlights

Reintro

Hey all. The California El Nino rains let up so I was able to give her a proper wash for her reintroduction here. I bought her a week ago from a fellow forum member though I never did catch his handle. I've added a few of my own touches. The PO had done the wheels, spoiler, and BMWP stripes. I got the mirrors and splitter from guys here. Anyway, I'm loving it so far. Question is, what's next? Charge pipe? Risk emissions and go downpipe? Save for Dinan Stage 2? I've got a few more goodies on the way from Mike at X-PH so will post up when they're on. ENJOY:
