Matticus91 > LMAO! Me too man, Havent driven the car since last March. Been busy + the guys at the shop have been slammed. Its coming together now tho. This weekend the engine & transmission will be completely mounted. Had to make custom bases, transmission bridge/mount, crossmember modifications, etc. After that, we're going to pop in the LSD and modify the driveshaft.

TWMPerformance > Thanks!
MaDoNiOn> Initially, I'll be around 500-600whp -- or whatever the stock tranny can hold (which is in that range). Once we get the kinks out, then I'll build the tranny and dial up the boost. Engine/configuration is built and can handle upwards of 900-1000hp. So basically, whatever the car can hold & put down in terms of traction -- that's where we'll end up. |

Blipit_ > What's up man. Thanks for checking out the build. Not trying to be a dick...any chance that you can unquote post #398 (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...&postcount=398), so that the page is a little more manageable? If you can man, much appreciated.

With the cross-member back in, and plenty of clearance...we designed and fabricated custom motor mounts and transmission mounts. BTW, if any of you crazies ever decide to do this...let me know. I made a couple sets and have them for sale... |

So with the engine and transmission secured and mounted -- LSD time! Thanks to MFactory for making it happen. BTW, I strongly recommend to buy their Installation Kit & Shim Kit. The "Install-Kit" comes with new bolts, bearings and BMW seals (which you'll most likely destroy in the disassembly process). The "Shim-Kit" is needed to set the proper backlash otherwise, you'll destroy the differential. In my case, reusing both stock C-clamps did not give us any backlash, essentially locking the differential (no-bueno). If this happens...buy the "Shim-Kit"... Got some monsters always lurking in the background... Last edited by TUN3D; 05-27-2016 at 03:41 PM.. |

What's the deal with that Supra racecar if you don't mind me asking? Ex-GT500?
