That is true since it's newer than 02/2012.

Big Thanks to Joe @TopGearSolution. He helped me install the PPK remotely on my 11' 135i DCT about a month ago. Car runs smoothly and has the nice burble pops from the exhaust.

MHD will be available soon for models built post 3-2012. Same advantages as ppk, more power, cheaper, and more options.

What is MHD, is it just a different tune that can be done by BMW dealer? My biggest worry is warranty voiding. Owning a bmw outside of warranty is akin to Russian Roulette in my eyes.

hello everyone. Evan here! I got quite of a little story for you guys. I've been having issues with my n55 135i since I first got it 8 months ago. my car had the infamous stalling/idle ac issue.
I was pulling my hair until I read, bmw actually had a SIB called 12 15 14. I'm out of warranty so bmw was charging me 275 for an update. until I read up on the forums. I came in contact with a specific forum that states the ppk will update your dme to the latest software available. sure enough I had JOE from TGS perform the PPK flash. ISSUE RESOLVED. money well spent. he's professional and knows what he's doing. recomending all my n55 buddies. Thanks Joe!

Hey Joe, still no way to do a PPK tune on a 2013 version? BMW are jerks for blocking that with whatever they updated!

Just to close the loop: Between ordering the cable and its arrival, someone decided to run a red light and total the 135.

Joe was great, but I don't have anything to add regarding the PPK.

Just wanted to give an A+ to Joe installing the PPK on my 2012 135iDCT, smooth process, pretty easy and took around 1 hour and some change.

I've been running it for a month now, but haven't really had a chance to fully try it until today, if you get above 40mph in nyc it's a miracle.

PPK itself has eliminated the DCT lag/lurch this alone is why you should get the PPK. Driving in manual mode gives you nice pops and bubbles. Also throttle response is much more responsive. Can't wait for to take it to the track.

Overall great experience with Joe and the PPK is a great upgrade especially if you are hesitant about a Jb4 etc.

Glad it's worked out well for you. The throttle lag issue has plagued many.

Well like many of you on here I had Joe set me up with PPK (2011 DCT) remotely. Actual flash only took about 20 minutes from start to finish and went super smooth. Joe was extremely professional from start to finish and I highly recommend his service. Car no longer has the dreaded turbo lag/hesitation issue that bugged the sh** out of me and the extra powwaaa is great. Next up is the Dinan S2 tune which I'm having done tomorrow!!!!

Let us know how well the PPK and Dinan tune work together.

Another very happy customer of Joe and TGS here! ALL of the throttle hesitation issues and surging were immediately resolved by having the ppk put on. The pops and burbles are absolutely incredible! Thanks so much Joe!

First of all, Joe is amazing. I get home from work late and he still found time to help me out. 5 stars if you ask me.
The flash didn't take long at all. Once I drove around I fell in love with the car all over again.
I'll be sure to post videos of the sound.

Yeah, that sound is addicting, isn't it? I drive mostly with my windows down and the stereo off just to hear it. I have the BMW Performance exhaust which enhances that beautiful noise and makes it sound even better.

I kid you not, I drove around for an hour just listening to it. I had a friend record me but it's not the best quality.
I'll be mounting the go pro to get footage.
