Is This A Good Deal?

Guys,
A local dealer has a used 2013 128i for sale. The specs are:
Miles: 42K
6MT
M Sport Package
Navigation
Taupe Leather Interior
HK Sound System
Power Seats
Heated Seats
Moonroof
Anthracite Wood Trim
Asking Price: $18,100

This is not a CPO car. I would still get it inspected by a local independent shop. The tires are not run flats. I have not yet seen the car in person but was sent some pics by the dealer. It has a one-owner clean carfax.

Based on this, do you all think its a good deal? If not, what would you be willing to pay for it? Are there any important questions I should ask the dealer?

Thanks for your help!
Sam

Ask how much time you have left on the warranty. I think they go into effect the minute the car is sold, so you can have a 2013 sold in 2014 and have a year/8000 warranty left.
Ask about an extended plan, and see if they will knock a grand off if you can get an extended plan.

Reason: water pump/HPFP

If you are prepared to buy a water pump kit for $400 (they go out around 68-80K) and I believe the HPFP has a separate warranty, then you prob don't need an extended warranty.

Otherwise, pretty decent deal.

No HFPF issues in the 128i.
Looks like a great deal! I wouldn't mind buying it at that price even though I already have a similarly spec'd 128i.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I've sent a question to the salesperson about the extended warranty. Are there any hidden fees I should look out for?

That seems like a decent price.

Hidden fees would be dealer documentation fees (usually around $200) tax/tax fees and anything else the dealership comes up with on their own.

Personally I couldn't do the color inside and out but yeah that is a good price.

But if you like the choices then go for it.

My 2012 128 msport 6mt loaded , with about the same mileage was totaled last summer and the ins co gave me over 23000 for it.

I would jump at an M-Sport 6MT 128, that's difficult to find

Ric,
The exterior is space grey and the interior is taupe.

Colors are so subjective and everyone likes what they like.

I can't do that interior.

All mine have been Koral...Titanium for the 128 and Black Silver Metallic for the 135i.

But a great car at a great price and a wonderful car to drive.

I miss my 128i sometimes....

Yeah, I'm not crazy about the Taupe interior. I have a dog and I think the taupe will get dirty pretty quick when he's in the car. Also, I was looking at the photos of the car the dealer sent me and I just noticed that there seems to be a scratch/blemish/tear/poke in the leather on the passenger side door. Plus the floor mats look pretty rough. Take a look..

I'd see about buying some black ones off here. That wouldn't look bad.

Way too much pale skin in that car for my tastes.

I think we now know why it is such a good deal.

Red interior swap????

Love the Coral Red. Best interior color imo. Had it in my first 1er and thought it was beautiful with my BSM paint.

That interior looks grimy as hell, have you not seen the car in person yet?
