2012 128i M Sport, 6MT, Slicktop/Stripper, ~33k mi, BMW Performance Parts
Hello everyone, For sale is my 2012 128i. This is a unicorn spec of the vehicle with super low mileage. M Sport and 6MT as the only options. Car has no sunroof, manual seats, and no iDrive. Mileage currently sits a bit under 33,000, and will continue to accumulate slightly as I will likely drive the car once a week to keep all the fluids moving. I have made two minor modifications to the car since buying and the car also has several OEM upgrades from the BMW Performance Parts catalog, most of which are no longer available. These include TRW (M3) Front Control Arms, M3 Rear Subframe Bushings, the BMW Performance Suspension, BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Intake, and the BMW Performance Exhaust. I have owned the car since 17,700 miles and have performed regular oil changes around every 5000 miles. Other maintenance during my ownership has included a power steering flush and spark plug and coil pack replacement. The car also has brand new Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ tires with less than 500 miles on them and a fresh alignment (also will be including a 17x7" spare wheel and tire). Car has been garage kept for my entire ownership, never driven in the snow, and very rarely in the rain. I also have an appointment next week for the car to receive a full detail to make sure the exterior is looking as good as possible for the next owner. The exterior and interior of the car are in truly excellent condition, with the only blemishes being your typical minor rock chips on the front bumper and a small dent on the rear diffuser that was there from the previous owner. I have included a photo of the small dent. These cars, especially in this spec, are incredibly hard to come by. Even more so with this low of mileage. Beyond that most of the performance parts that are on the car are no longer available to buy. I've truly enjoyed my ownership of this car as BMW will likely never make a naturally aspirated, stripped down, enthusiast level drivers car again. The N52 motor sounds amazing and drives so smoothly. Its extremely tough for me to let this one go knowing it will likely become a future classic, but as this was my weekend only car, I am looking to get something a little more focused such as a Miata or BRZ. Please reach out to me with any questions. The car is currently located in the Los Angeles area. I am active duty military so the car is registered in my home of record, Texas. There are no liens on the vehicle and the title is clean. I have listed out some of the specs and maintenance on the vehicle below. I bought the car off of this forum's for sale section, so I'm offering it up here first as well in hopes that it goes to an enthusiast owner. Willing to work with any serious buyers no matter the location. Edit: Forgot to mention, the car is also scheduled to get the latest airbag recall completed by the end of next week. Also, the Performance Suspension and Performance exhaust were added at about 28k miles. Also done at this time were the front control arms and M3 rear subframe bushings. So the suspension only has about 5k miles on it. Brakes and intake were done around 32k miles. Mine is spec'ed almost the same way and it's an absolute joy to drive. Your price is way out of line for a low-mileage stock car, but people should realize that the rarity and NLA Performance parts easily make up the difference. I would not have a problem paying that price for my dream car and given the way it's spec'ed, it pretty much is.

GLWS! I have my 13' with higher mileage and more electronics (Idrive etc...) posted as well for a lower price but this is definitely worth it! Especially given the NLA parts.

Great spec and nice mods. GLWS.
Fellow 1addicts guy here locally swapped a 128i for a miata and seems to love it.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Definitely hoping to have it go to an enthusiast who understands that this is one of the last pure drivers cars BMW made and not the typical college girl spec 128i you see on Autotrader.
Updated the listing a bit to reflect that the suspension upgrades only have about 5k miles on them, including the Performance Suspension. |

Miata/BRZ are downgrades. If you only have city & short routes (no autobahn) I see why you may not realize it. Great spec & mods though.
