Got some HPF/N54 eye candy :)
Hey guys we are the Florida west coast HPF dealer/install center and I wanted to share some info that I have posted on some other sites but I wasnt sure if it was posted on here so enjoy This is a direct copy of everything I have posted on another site!
"Hey guys still trying to get the full scoop on this but this is what I know so far! enjoy Coming from the boys at HPF: "I still have this in the design process, but you can expect it to be cast aluminum and plumbed for additional port injection as well as alcohol injection." -See plenum design below Also here is the game plan Stage 1: Is a Tune and a few other Highly Crafted add-ons like Intercooler and intake Manifold. Stage2: Will be a Single Turbo (Planed T67 ) with just about the exact set up as the HPF E46 M3. Everything from gages ,Meth, and of course a major improvement on the fuel system. Going to Be Sick! Stage3: Will be fully Built and reinforced Motor, Fuel system… and oh yeah…A lot more Boost! And talking to Dave this morning from HPF I also got this info: "The intercooler and Intake Manifold are done so far, next will be using our electronics to tune the stock twins with our parts, once that is done we will build a single turbo manifold and do that for stage 2" Sounds like big HP is on its way for the N54 community! This is their rapid prototype that they have been working on! This is a video of their Stage 4 E46 M3 kits currently! Can almost guarantee it won't be less than 7k for stage 3, I think the price structure may be similar to the e46 M3 stage structure (HPF has never been know for their cheap prices, but very well known for the quality of the parts). I would hope I could get the stage 1 for something reasonable though (~2k without the IC / 3k with IC), would definitely be interested in seeing the gains from the plenum.

This looks insane, would recommend consulting Burger Motorsports for the tuning. Seems they know tuning N54 better then BMW, haha.

What price do you think the N54 community would like for each stage....
Stage 1-$ Stage 2-$ Stage 3-$ Stage 4-$ I'm trying to get the most feedback I can from you guys so I can help them get the product developed and ultimately to what you guys want! |

No the picture above is the E46M3 kit as I stated below the pic, but everything above is for the N54!
I'm not 100% on it yet but I'm sure the extra injector is to help solve the issue with fuel as every tuner who has attempted a single turbo upgrade has failed. But having sold and installed the HPF product I'm extremely confident they will completely change the N54 game, and bring power levels that so far have only been dreamed about! Keep posted! |
