charcoal box relocate
hi all
been searching for a while and still couldn't find too much info regrading relocate the charcoal box. Most ppl go straight to the 1m battery relocate, but can anyone confirm that mod can doable on a E88 as well? or where did everyone relocate the charcoal box to get a quad setup done? thank you all |

I used Google and searched for "1Addicts & quad exhaust"...
Have you seen these threads? Maybe TUN3D or Jesal@IND Those of you with quad exhausts http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1065440 My Quad Exhaust Project http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1101460 Revised Eisenmann Quad Exhaust for the North American spec 135i http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=631340 Quad Exhaust http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1081773 Remus Race Quad Exhaust review/pics http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1020808

All the links he provided is the way to go without having to relocate anything. The only thing you'll need to do (with those particular setups) is eliminate and/or modify the plastic covers where the right tip will be located. ---------- The "multifunctional pan" -- the bucket where the charcoal canister is attached to, is the same for the E82 and E88. Part #51717166854 If you absolutely need to relocate the canister, or want to rock a 1M style exhaust, here's the write up: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1058189 If you need help coordinating, let me know. There are items in there, i.e. new battery, air vent lines, which are not necessarily required. |

thank you all for the reply.
ive been follow TUN3D post lately for the battery relocation. was hoping there will be any other option rather than relocate the battery tray. most of the exhaust shop i went to they do not want to do it unless the box has been relocate.... kind of sucks. i have the 1m rep rear bumper, so the exhaust tip will be right in front of the box, maybe thats why. thank you all once again |

Does anyone know if you can just cut the hoses to the canister and just simply extend them looking at it I feel like that would be the easiest option but I've never heard of anyone doing it
