Killed the orange
Went to my local tint shop and got 2 pieces of 3M smoked film. Good stuff and cheap! ($20) Cut 'em a few days ago - they made the 1er look a LOT better IMO.
Also got a shot of the new AA 'zaust up in thurr.

looks very nice! been debating on what i was going to do about those. I like the tint idea...i was also looking at the vitex etched glass version too.

me too...i dont wanna be the first! I have TiAg so thats why i think the clear/etched glass would blend in better than the tint. I may pull the trigger on this soon!

That looks damn good! I'm ordering a jet black one so I'll probably end up doing this too.
Sorry if this sounds stupid, but how do you apply it? I assume you took the headlights out and applied it like normal window tint? |

make sure you post pics if you do...I have been thinking the same thing. Tint is too dark for TiAg.

Realistically, the 1er's ARE very low to the ground. My one came stock, lower then my GTI was on aftermarket springs. Its a much more lower center of gravity car, I wont be messin with the suspension on this car, I think its plenty low nuff, theres a mild wheel gap but I dont see a need to mess with that unless I wanna deal with rubbing n not being able to change up my wheels without poppin outside the fender
