Montego blue right after a wash and wax

Took a few pictures right after washing and waxing my car. Spent a total of 4 hours, pheww, but baby gets what baby wants. The last pic I took with my camera phone (sorry for the blurriness) after getting out of the movies. The car just looked amazing under the parking lot lights, so I couldn't resist taking a picture.

I give up cleaning my Montego Blue baby as every time I become more and more depressed. My car has so many chips on the hood and a few on the door panels. I don't understand if it the paint BMW uses or just bad luck. I have never had so many rock chips on a car in my life. Funny thing is a clear bra would not have even helped as most of the chips are on the middle part of the hood. I keep a good distance from the cars in front of me! Guess I just gotta live with them or buy a new car!

I was not successful with Dr. Color chip. These chips go right to the primer. The touch up paint I have been using from BMW doesn't help much either. I'm sure there is a professional or proper way to use the touch up paint that I am not following. The first chips were hard to swallow but now its not so bad anymore. I'm just enjoying the car and washing it only once every few weeks instead of two times a week!

Very nice color. I tried to find one before I got my black one that I regret horribly right now. The paint is so F'd. I have some weird small clear blueish spots over most of the car in the paint. I talked to my dealer and they are going to have the regional BMW tech take a look at it to see if it needs a full repaint.
