How much $$$ have you spent on your 1er?
So how much money have you spent on your 1er since you've picked it up? I'm talking about anything and everything... aftermarket mods including performance and cosmetic upgrades, shipping fees, customs and import taxes, installation work, repairs etc.
I've spent way more than I've wanted to and I haven't even touched the performance side of things because I want to keep my warranty. I never planned on making my 135i into a hardcore track car or a show car but I always wanted to do some minor upgrades as I think these cars have so much potential in every way. I also plan to keep it for a long time. I'm interested to hear how much everyone has spent and what their future plans are for the car. In the US the skies the limit for what they do to their 1ers! |

I've seen your posts regarding the stereo in some other audio threads. Let me know if you still go ahead with it as I'm really interested too. I don't think I will spend that much though, maybe just an amp and sub for a bit of extra bass. One of the guys in the US makes an OEM sub enclosure for the trunk which l think looks great. I'm really keen for something like that. |

I've spent over 10k and this doesn't include servicing or cleaning products. A lot of money was eaten up with shipping costs though as I've sourced a few things from the US.

I spent more than you developing one product that never went to market, i could have bought another 2 135i's for the money i have flushed away. Remember all the BS i had with the US supplier of one of my products, that was about half a 135i on its own. What about the months i spent dyno'ing all the original tunes for these cars....
