obsessed when you take your wifes car to work whenever there is a hint of rain. obsessed when you wipe your car down once you get out of it (no brake dust here). obsessed when once you park walk away and you look back at your car minimum of 3 times. obsessed that you staighten your car PERFECTLY when you park it in the garage. my wife doesn't get it but i'm sure we do.

--Keep a log of how many times per day you used the "California Duster" to clean your car off.
--Use your childhood blanket to drape over your 1 in the garage to help keep it warm at night. --Keep 3 or 4 road hazard barriers in your trunk at all times to place around your car when you park at the 7-11 to get a slurpee. --Tell people you have a newborn baby, then show them pictures of your 1. --Use Qtips instead of Johnson&Johnson Cotton Ear Swabs, because you only use the best for cleaning out the A/C vents. Just some possible indicators. Not like I do any of this....nope....not me....I don't have a problem....I'm not obsessed.....I'm not an addict.....I don't need to go to meetings and talk about my addiction.......not me.....you won't see me on Jerry Springer!!

---Blanket, nope, don't have my childhood blanket. I had to go buy a "100% Merino Wool oversized blanket". Does that count? ---Barriers wouldn't fit, darnit! I just hire illegal aliens to stand around the car. It is SoFL of course.

Extra thought - Changing oil every 2k with samples sents UPS next day air to Blackstone Labs.... tracking wear metals decreases in a line graph....

you park waaaaaaaaaay out where no one else does. (But you do notice others like you who are also doing it) It's a guy thing.
you inspect your car for dings and bumper scrapes before you leave any place you parked at. you clean your windshield every time you get in the car, (using the cars windsheild wipers; not actually getting out with a bottle of Windex and papaer towels, that would be really obsessive). Nothing worse than streaks and dirt smears when driving. you wash your car everytime you take it out for a drive. you spend hours washing it and waxing it only to cover the car up and not drive it for that week. you worry about your car when you are away on vacation, wondering if anything has happened while you are gone. you get a third car, (wife drives second car), so you dont have to drive your 135i in daily rush hour traffic. (keep it as a weekend car only) at least these are my issues.

-You can stand to see dirt on the floor mat as such you shake it out before you get into the car
-You watch to make sue your passenger doesn't scuff the sill plate as they enter the car -You do a separate load of laundry just for the micro fibers you use on your car -You've had your car a year and it still looks like it just left the showroom
