I wonder if this will not look wavy when wrapped to glacier aluminum trim...
All the other trims have smooth surface and looks amazing after the wrap.

I would like to do this too but I'm having reservations because I have the Glacier aluminum trim.

Has anyone did this with their glacier aluminum trim?

sorry if you didn't understand me but that is exactly what i was looking for, sorry for all the questions but it just looks sooo clean and i wanna do it right myself . how did you get the fabric on top of the ashtray to end and line up so clean? and does the silver bar on top of the ashtray just snap back in or do you have to secure it? did you align the fabric on the ashtray and consol so the weave aligns the same or did you just place fabric on the ashtray and hope they aligned? sorry again for all the Q's

2.5 hours to do everything or 2.5 hours just to do the wrapping?

Everything...the wrapping is pretty quick it's taking it all apart that takes time.

Order it through EuroDyne, Jo is a vendor here and he can get you exactly what I got. He charges 40 per yard. I have the black, he also offers a lighter charcoal.

awesome work.
I have to ask, how easy is this to clean or dust? It seems like its not covered by any laquer or resin and has a flat look to it, so i would think your cleaning or wiping the fabric directly? I was thinking about doing a wrap but dont know to much about it and may want to have a gloss on it. I just dont know what kind of gloss or resin would hold up to heat and not get soft. Do you have any experience in that?
Also, how the heck did you remove all of the pieces and the center console, wrap them in fiber that cleanly and reinstall it all in just 2.5 hours! thats fast!

I would guess wiping it down with a damp microfiber (something with no lint) would work just fine. My Subaru has a black CF type weave on the door panels and after 5 years it still looks brand new using a damp MF towel.
