Holy crap! The Arqray exhaust is expensive! Email response:
Dear sir Thank you for an inquiry Regarding E82 135i Exhaust , This system is only Rear Muffler and direct bolt on. we don't have a Header and Front Pipe. 3D Design products, This one not Bumper , they produced only Diffuser. 4 Tail Pipe Diffuser Retail Price 116,000 JPY 4 Tail Pipe Exhaust Retail Price 220,000 JPY That's approximately $3350.18 (not including shipping & handling & installation)!

I've listened to a lot of the sound clips and I'm impressed by some of the products out there. Just wondering though, is there an exhaust out there that does a good job of lowering the note from the engine, making it sound almost more like a V8? I'm a sucker for the growl of a V8

Anyone recommend something that has some lowend grunt but not too loud over all, no drone? I think I am developing a n exhaust leak (where my stock midpipes were cut for bmw performance exhaust and I will fix) every now and then it seems like it just growls a bit deeper... slow acceleration stating off from a stop sign 750-1400 rpms range.
I think it actually sounds quite good (this isnt a full wide open leak that sounds like somone just went straight pipe.) but would like it to be a little more consistently "growly" for lack of better description down low. (sound reminds me of a evo I heard that was real tuned, but had a pretty mild exhaust on it... even with quick gear changes never past 2krpms it sounded fantastic) |

MadDad EuroSport w/Catless midpipes
Pay close attention to the snap, crackle, pop off throttle. Reminds me of a mini-me version of my brothers C6 Corvette with the BillyBoat exhaust. Gives the car some much needed sound character.
MadDad Whisper EuroSport Bolt-On axleback on 135i that already had catless midpipes. R.

BMW Performance vs. Dinan
How does these two exhaust compare, not looking for anything crazy loud but a good sounding and one that will keep factory warranty.
