Here's the dumbest design feature of the 135i

WHen you have low tire pressure the warning screen shows up on the NAV screen and can't be cleared.

I get a low tire in the middle of the night in a city I'm not familiar with. I can't use the navigation to find a hotel or anything else because the low tire warning can't be cleared out of the display.

I don't understand why they refuse to let us clear the warning display..

Is there a way to clear it that I haven't figured out? THanks!

Have you tried resetting the TPMS system so that it accepts the low pressure? Or inflating the offending tire?

Did you try to use the regular on board computer to reset the fault?

I had this issue two days ago and resetting the on board computer using the button on the turn signal stalk worked for me. it allowed me to get back to the nav screen.

um no, the dumbest design feature on the 1er is the center console. It corners of the hinge are the only thing that make the back seats uncomfortible. They drill into your knees and piss you off in 10 seconds at the most.

But that is pretty bad

Thats pretty messed up.

I thought it was annoying that my seatbelt alarm cant be shut off, even while parked. Or no dual climate temp, or no water temp gauge, or the low gas alarm bings constantly (with flashing lights).

WHY does the iphone cable have to be 3inches!?!? I have to look at my ass to use my phone while connected!!!!!

BMW, we are not retarded, please leave us alone with these alarms!

Has anybody noticed that the horn doesnt work unless the car is running? I got bumper tapped in a parking lot because I was waiting with the car off for my sister to come out of a store and I got backed into by someone who didnt know where the ass of her car was, a totally avoidible situation if I could simply beep the horn.

The dumbest design feature is the Auto wipers light.

It is on the stalk but can't be seen as the steering wheel is in the way.

You need to stretch around to see it... not good when driving. Why couldn't they just put a light on the dash?

Nah the dumbest feature is that BMW tuned our cars to 300hp when they could have easily tuned it 400hp from factory. Pretty dumb by BMW

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The fuel pump issue can be considered dumb design (replaced twice).
Frameless doors (people want to push on the window). Dumb
A transmission that pops out of gear when you hit a hard bump. Dumb
Run-flat tires with no jack. Really dumb
Slightly narrow and smushed looking. Little dumb
Comes with summer tires, yet does not have a very aggressive suspension. Dumb as hell.
I love this car anyway. Dumb?
Its a toxic relationship. Am I a Dumbass?
Its flaws give it personality. Not dumb
What can you do???
The 135i is a cant live with
cant live without car.
Dumb Love I guess

That is totally my biggest design flaw problem with the car, especially again now that we're enterring another winter.
