Next addition to the 1er
So just passed the CPA and getting some bonus $$, figured I'd treat my lady. I am definitely going to be adding an oil catch can probably from Mckinney, however can't really decide what else i should add next. Leaning towards Exhaust for now not to run into warranty issues. For all you RFT haters I will most likely be swapping them over the winter once i get the summer wheels off and winter setup on. Anyway vote!
EDIT**I do have the DINAN stage II tune.

my vote goes to the VK intercooler, you will get the most gains from it
i really like the AA intercooler but the install is too much of a PITA, the install on the VK looks way too easy. wish AAs was that easy to install |

i cant really vote in this poll... because i dont really like any of your choices
let me break it down for you vk fmic - great idea! but really unnecessary until you do software to put up with the extra boost bmw performance exhaust - eurotuners found that this system lost 10whp and 5lb tq. exhaust is what i would do but not this system injen dci - from what i have heard this system is very well designed, but it is still open, and sucking hot air, and i still believe that hot air is not as efficient as cold air. i am waiting for a closed design to come out before i do intake charge pipe and ddv - still not necessary until you do big performance like software that increases boost

I really wouldn't go with an assessment made by euro tuner.
That being said my top 2 choices for you are the fmic followed by the bmw perf exhaust. Fwiw Bimmer magazine showed a decent 5-8hp gain with the performance exhaust.

Why not a Dinan exhaust? It has better performance than the BMW perf, but if your interested in sound than BMW perf is the only way to go.

thought the BMW exhaust took out the Y-pipe or something like that... i havent heard the DINAN, but the Perf. does sound good. Any gains are more for sound since perf. is probably fairly neglible.
